Yellowstone National Park is resuming the summer season of its 150th anniversary after intense flooding and uncertainty closed the park for over a week.

Yellowstone National Park allow visitors to access the Southern Loop of the park from the East, West, and South Entrances at 8 a.m.this Wednesday, June 22.

Northern portion of Yellowstone National Park likely to remain closed for a substantial length of time due to severely damaged, impacted infrastructure

Cody residents and business owners were reassured that Yellowstone National Park will reopen, but there will be changes to ensure the park isn't overwhelmed.

Yellowstone National Park will be closed for at least five more days due to flood damage after the Lamar, Gardner and Yellowstone rivers shattered records for high water.

Yellowstone National Park said historic flooding would shutter northern parts of the park for a "substantial length," and that infrastructure had been damaged.
