TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler police were called to a motel in north Tyler Thursday evening to check on the welfare of a child.
According to Tyler PD PIO Andy Erbaugh, at about 5 p.m. Tyler Police officers responded to the Town House Motel, which is located at 2420 E. Gentry, after someone called in a report about a 6 year old found unresponsive in a bathtub in one of the rooms.
The child was taken to CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances emergency room by EMS.

TYLER, Texas On Thursday, April 15 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Tyler Police Officers responded to the Town House Motel located at 2420 E. Gentry on a report of a 6-year-old child found unresponsive in a bathtub in one of the rooms.
The child was transported to Christus Trinity Mother Frances ER by EMS.
The child is in critical condition. However the exact status is unknown at this time because medical procedures are still occurring.
Tyler Police Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called to the motel. This case is still under investigation.

Lease agreement with CHAT and Town House Motel falling through
The Chico Housing Action Team also know as (CHAT) said its deal to lease a motel is falling through.

CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Housing Action Team also know as (CHAT) said its deal to lease a motel is falling through.
CHAT wanted to eventually purchase the Town House Motel located on 2231 Esplanade near the Miller Mansion.
In February, the Chico City Council approved CHAT to use $200,000 from the state to lease the property.

One of the discrepancies is that there could actually be more beds available and more beds in our community than what is being reported,” said Reynolds. “There are private organizations and there are religious organizations that do sober living environments and things like that who don t necessarily report to the CoC and the numbers that are being provided today are strictly numbers based upon the CoC findings.”
