CHARLESTON Two women say First Choice Services violated the West Virginia Human Rights Act when it fired them.
Chardae Davis and Lee Ann Wilkerson are Black women who were employed by First Choice between 2015 and 2019 and claim during their employment they were subjected to unwelcome sexually and racially hostile comments and advances by First Choice CEO Scott Jarrett, according to two complaints filed in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Davis and Wilkerson allege that Jarrett repeatedly asked the plaintiffs about having sexual relations with White men that they construed as invitations for them to have sexual relations with Harrett. The plaintiffs claim they repeatedly made it known to Jarrett that his advances were unwelcome.
