As of April 26, 470 school districts were hybrid, 47 were remote and 246 were fully in-person the fifth week in a row the number of in-person districts increased. Mayor Jim Schwantz announced the program Wednesday during his annual State of the Village address presented by the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Consumer Credit Union. About 20 people were allowed to attend the event at village hall, and the address also was broadcast on Zoom.
