Defence Ministry signs contract with BEL for procurement of 10 Lynx U2 Fire Control systems AIR PIC Defence Ministry has signed a contract with Bharat Electronics Limited for procurement of 10 Lynx U2 Fire Control systems for frontline warships of Indian Navy at a cost of one thousand 355 crore rupees. The Lynx system has been designed and developed indigenously that will further the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The LYNX U2 GFCS is a Naval Gun Fire Control System designed to acquire, track and engage targets amidst sea clutter. It is capable of accurately tracking air and surface targets, generating required target data for predicting weapon aiming points and engaging targets.

top of charleston at about 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. here is the live tracking radar and as far as the distance goes right now from the storm, this is the center of the storm. these bands out here are the ones that are giving us the tropical storm force winds as we go up the coastline, there is palm coast, it is good to know, to zoom in to show what towns and little cities are getting the worst damage and so this is the flagler beach area, now with some of the worst highest winds. storm surge is along the palm coast area and all of the locations as we go throughout the next two to four hours will be seeing the peak water. saint augustine, 15 miles from the eyewall and right now, we re nine miles from the eyewall in palm coast. thankfully for the florida coastline, you can see how it bends a little bit towards the northwest. if the storm is continuing to more north ward motion. the eyewall should be going further away from saint augustine up towards jacksonville. we re staring at the

there are two ways of tracking radar, that s panning the radar that bounces off the airplane and can tell you the distance. that s what we re seeing here? what we have got here is the pattern from what s called the secondary surveillance radar. that s the trance responder, that has a four digit code. and every airliner is given a unique code so that air traffic control can mull that over. it appears that that airplane just dropped off of radar. if you then place on top of that that this just disappeared at 28,000 feet which is very unusual. there s no rt call, there s no distress call, and also there s emergency code on the trance responder. so it s all indicating that something happened very abruptly
