Now a consortium of companies has developed standards for describing the origin, history and legal rights to data. The standards are essentially a labeling system for where, when and how data was collected and generated, as well as its intended use and restrictions.

Reliance Jio, Indias largest mobile operator, continues to strengthen its position in the market, adding 32.4 lakh users in August, as reported by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai). The wireless subscriber count for Reliance Jio now stands at an impressive 44.57 crore.

Indias largest telco Reliance Jio cemented its lead in the telecom market adding 14.26 lakh net subscribers in November, whereas Airtel added 10.56 lakh users. Jios overall subscribers tally stood at 42.28 crore at the end of November 2022.

As per the TRAI data, Reliance Jio’s total mobile customer count stood at 40.87 crore whereas Bharti Airtel’s total subscribers reached 36.21 crore

The telecom regulator outlines some changing trends that could benefit some of the top players.
