The Fine Gael party in Kerry have received another blow with the news that long-standing councillor Jim Finucane will not contest the local election. He made the announcement at the party’s convention on Monday night. It came hot on the heels of the same announcement by Cllr Seamus Cosaí Fitzgerald just days earlier.
