Beautiful scenery on the road from the centre of Tram Tau district to Mo Chi. The terraced field is one of the specialties of this land. Often called the rooftop of Yen Bai province, Ta Chi Nhu is located in Xa Ho commune, Tram Tau district. It is part of the Pu Luong massif of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

As Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai from the NICU explained, “Ethnic minority groups live in remote villages in mountainous areas which are hard to reach. It takes them hours to get to the NICU. As a result, many infants with infections come to our unit only in severe condition.”

In the north-central province of Nghe An, the provincial Department of Education and Training issued a document requesting students of kindergarten and elementary schools to let students stay home if the temperature falls below 10 degrees Celsius, and seven degrees Celsius for middle and high schools.
