Transparency Task Force has launched a petition to remove Woodford's inclusion on the 2013 Birthday Honours list

Neil Woodford could see his CBE stripped after activists launched a campaign against the disgraced investor for his central role in the collapse of his fund...

Frustrated investors who lost out in the collapse of Woodfords firm called on the Government to strip the disgraced investment guru of his CBE.

It comes nearly five years after 300,000 savers saw £3.7billion of their cash trapped in the Woodford Equity Income Fund when it was shut down.

A potential line was drawn under the long-running Woodford funds scandal on Friday, after a high court judge approved a scheme to return money to investors.

About 300,000 people could receive payouts but campaigners say it is an "appalling outcome".
