Agreement, t.r.a.p. in ohio law. now the other clinic in toledo. the last remaining clinic in toledo is getting shut down, too, by the same law. you hear people talk about t.r.a.p. laws. this is the kind of t.r.a.p. they mean. require a clinic to have something, and then ban them by law from having it. and you shut it down because they dont have it. this is how republican legislators and governors are banning legal abortion in our country whenever theyre in power, roe v. wade or no roe v. wade. ...

Mccrory. this is governor pat mccrory after having won that election. sb-353 there is the abortion bill with the trap provisions. regulations so strict it is impossibly expensive for abortion clinics to comply, so they have to shut down. thats the whole point of t.r.a.p. laws. thats the point of this one. no matter how many times they want to put the words health and safety into these bills, they are about shutting clinics down. this bill will probably shut down 15 of the 16 clinics in the state...

And only, what, 14 of them performed abortions. the rest of them were only doing family planning and theyre closed anyway. and these trap laws, are closing clinics all over the country with regulations like hallways wide enough for two gurneys passing side by side, never mind youll have two gurneys closing side by side in a little abortion clinic. theyre making rules so outrageous clinics cant abide by them. >> there seems to be awareness of how danger this is politically. this is just yesterday...
