Its actually not terrible this morning and its not going to be that bad later this afternoon although it does look like heat wave day six is on tap. First of all light shower activity in south jersey and delaware. This is pretty light not having major impact on roads butter in some cases s in salem come lands counties New Castle County delaware and now Gloucester County there is the chance of some roads being slightly wet and it looks like most of this stuff stays to the south of philadelphia today. Well, its not going to be quite as hot today but once again a day for cool drinks. We have a little shower thats popped up south of philadelphia cutting through southern Lancaster County and areas of maryland just to the west of New Castle County and kent county delaware. Some of these showers are starting to push into delaware. Looks like most of this will probably say south of philadelphia this morning. Between now or about 9 oclock youll be dealing where. Satellite shows you additional shower activity farther to the west. Its not out of the question that areas especially south of philadelphia pick up some of that as we go through the day. 71 in boston right now. Same in manchester and lawrence at 70 in concord new hampshireshy of 70 in Portland Maine and a lot of us are in the 60s. 67 in worcester. Upper 60s in the vineyard. Dew points in the 60s so yes its a little bit muggy right now. And that humidity is going to be with us at least for the time being before we see a gradual lowering in the dew points for the second half of the day. That will be behind a cold front thats crossing the region this morning. Wheres the rain with it . We need it but theres no lot of moisture with this front so we cant rule out a stray sprinkle and thickening clouds between now and mid to late morning. And then clearing comes in after that. So sunrise coming up 6 minutes from now. Sun and clouds a little muggy through midday. We make a run at 90 in spots and mid80s with the ride home with clearing and warm with a sunset at 7 22.
