The River Institute delivered a fast-paced Year in Review through one of its outreach forums on Wednesday night – the monthly Science and Nature Untapped series.
Nearly two dozen presenters passed an annual report virtual relay baton, in looking back on 2020, the show hosted by research assistant/technician Stephany Hildebrand, and with, of course, a common thread of pandemic pivoting.

CORNWALL, Ontario – The River Institute recently held its 27
th Annual General Meeting and is pleased to announce the Board of Directors for 2021-2022: Trea Tuck (Chair), Glen Grant (Vice Chair), Jackie Baird (Treasurer), Stephen Alexander (Secretary), Jennifer Haley, Kirsten Gardner, Todd Bennett, Chief April Adams Philips, John Gleed, Diana Rourke, Debora Daigle, Scott Gagnon, Jean Marc Gladu, Mireille Lemire, and Scott Lecky.

Four additional Royal Canadian Legion branches in SDG will be receiving financial support from the federal government to cope with pandemic-related expenses and revenue shortfalls.
Stormont Dundas South Glengarry MP Eric Duncan released the information on Monday afternoon, indicating legion branches in Morrisburg, Iroquois, Winchester, and Finch will each receive $10,845 through the Veterans Organizations Emergency Support Fund.
