The theme of this year’s Hermiston Festival of Trees is “The Gift of Giving.” What a gift for area residents to once again participate in this incredible holiday event!

After last year's festival was closed down by COVID-19 restrictions, the community of Lake Park is bringing back its holiday Parade of Trees tradition this week. The festival opens on Thanksgiving, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, and continues with daily viewings through 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, when the cleanup begins. There is no cost to attend, though free will donations benefit local community beautification projects.
