I think the most striking statistic from the initial data that we got from the Police Department was how African Americans are overwhelmingly, disproportionately victims of violent crimes, homicide, Sexual Assault and assault. Law you heard about oh we cant do anything about adus because the state says we cant. We cant do anything about this because the state says you cant. Youre widening authority is being constantly narrowed by these state projects that are, these state laws that are one size fits all. And that one size does not fit San Francisco. Youve got to find a way to push back on some of this stuff and particularly in the mission we cant have, you know projects that are done with such low affordability and fa...

Dont have to. Hi, diane, and i want to say i came here to listen and learn and speak about another issue, but sitting there and hearing the proposal i just felt the need to stand up here as a citizen, certainly as a white bodied citizen to stand and show support and so i would say that i would support and endorse establishing vision 0 on homicides and Violent Crimes plan. We are now reconvened as the board of supervisors. We will take up the items related to the exemption from Environmental Review first and that would be items 23, 24 and 25 and we will be ...

Furthermore, the appellant proposed alternatives that were similar to two alternatives studied in the eir. Packages of design changes to mitigate the Historic Resource were included in four preservation alternatives in the eir, which are not considerably different from the alternatives proposed by th...

City, especially anywhere somewhat close to us and finding housing for my son, he wanted to be a neighbor he grew up with and theres very little housing. I know that this development wont help my father whos passed away or my son, because its going to be a few years before its here, but it will help the neighborhood and it will help the area given the transportation node. That doesnt include trees on private property. I realize that these are not all the urban forestrys fault. It is the only group in the city dedicated to our urban canopy. Better than anyone else, they understand just how bad our tree situation is. The recent urban Forestry Council noted at the citys current funding we have barely enough money to replant trees at the rate we are removing them. Putting all these things together if the city is serious about slowing down Climate Change and making th...
