MONUMENT • Monument Town Council has decided to not only hire one special attorney, but also to contract another to represent town staff in an investigation of a possible campaign
Financial records released by the Town of Monument through the Colorado Open Records Act show public funds were used to pay for campaign materials in April.
Members of the Monument Board of Trustees were unaware until after the election that $2,500 of public funds were spent on campaign materials in support of its home rule charter amendment.
