Swimming in the Sandhills Athletic Conference has been hit or miss in recent years, with several schools in the league giving a higher priority to other sports during the winter

The Triangle Aquatic Center has been chosen to be the domestic training site for the U.S. Olympic swimming team before they head to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

30 year old Jorge Murillo swam a 1:02.63 100 breaststroke last weekend. Murillo represented Colombia at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Erin Gemmell, who is a member of the 2022 US team for Junior Pan Pacs, raced in last year's Futures Championship meet in Richmond, Virginia.

The swim was a personal best by 1.5 seconds and ties her for #9 all-time in the 17-18 age group.
