Upper Thumb sees 82 new COVID cases, 5 new deaths

UPPER THUMB The Upper Thumb saw another 82 confirmed coronavirus cases and five new deaths reported by the state Dec. 15.
According to the state, Huron County led the region in the number of cases with 32 new cases and one death, bringing the county total since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,147 cases and 28 dead.
Tuscola County saw 31 new cases reported and two additional deaths, bringing the county total to 2,052 confirmed cases and 73 dead.
