The Bahamas has once again shown its might in athletics, winning the overall title at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under-13 (U13) and Under-15 (U15) Age Group Championships in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, over the weekend. Following a very competitive Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations (BAAA) Age Group Trials and Kids Athletics Championships at the end of last week at the original Thomas A. Robinson Track and Field Stadium, an eight-member national team was able to be identified, and will represent The Bahamas at the 4th North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Age

As expected, there have been a significant amount of qualifiers for the 50th Oaktree CARIFTA Games over the first two days of the ICS Security Concepts Bahamas National High School Track and Field Championships/CARIFTA Trials, adding to the 40 who had previously qualified. The three-day meet wraps up this evening at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium - the same venue
