India News Live Updates: The secretary of a community club in Tripura s Agartala was shot dead on Tuesday evening, reported ANI, citing officials.According to authorities, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the Shalbagan area, where a group of criminals fired from close range, resulting in the death of Durga Prasanna Deb.Deb held the position of secretary at the Bharat Ratna Club, situated near the MBB Airport, renowned for organizing the largest Durga Puja festival in the state.Following the attack, the assailants swiftly fled the scene, leaving officials to initiate a pursuit. Superintendent of Police of West Tripura district, Dr. Kiran Kumar, stated, "Police teams comprising personnel from Airport Police station and New Capital Complex police station have launched a joint manhunt to catch the assailants.
