In this parking lot is mostly this slushy stuff that were seeing underneath my feet. For the most part everyone weve talked to here in Calvert County told us they were impressed with how quickly they were able to clear the roadways and side streets throughout the county today. Calvert county as much as seven inches of snow in some areas. It wasnt the hardest hit in the state. That went to st. Marys county where one area saw as much as nine inches on the ground today. We found several people trying to clean up their driveways pretty early this morning. Trying to get it done before it started to refreeze. It hasnt been too bad. Early on it was very nice. Snow was light. That around the road where they started from the scraping and from the snow plows, its getting a little heavy. As it goes on its getting its getting a little heavier. Its not bad at all. And it seems most of the plows and the crews that weve seen working in this parking lot throughout the day have now all left for the day
Good morning. Morgan radford live from new york. Eight days after typhoon haiyan made landfall in the philippines the death toll is rising. More than 4,000 people are confirmed dead. 1,000 others are missing. Survivors are scrambling for food and water. Supplies are being flown in from around the world. Rescue teams are working around the clock to reach areas that have been cutoff by the storm. Distribution centres in places like cebu are overwhelmed with demand. Thats where we find al jazeeras steph. Is relief reaching those cut off by the storm yes, we can talk about a massive relief operation in cebu. A lot of the aircraft came in from over the world bringing relief goods that are desperately needed. The second question, of course, is are the relief goods going there. Some packages that have been brought up are behind me. They hadnt left the airfield all day. Theyll actually be brought to these areas will they go to the people who need it, the people who lost their homes, lost every
