A CHOIR for people living with dementia and their carers in Bolton has been awarded National Lottery funding of nearly £7,000. Musical Moments is a weekly choir which provides a safe, entertaining space for adults with any stage of dementia and their carers to join in a sing-a-long with the director Jane Hampson. It helps to boost the mood of participants and improves well-being. The choir is organised by local charity Trust Music in conjunction with the Bolton Dementia Support, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses. The National Lottery Awards for All grant, worth £6,840 was secured by Trust Music.
