Renegades trounce Crusaders in Champions League Saturday 13 March 2021 HILLVIEW RENEGADES trounced Solo Crusaders 3-0 on Thursday in a second-round fixture, of the TT (Table Tennis) Champions League, at Knowles Street, Curepe. Only one encounter went to five sets – Yuvraaj Dookram versus Anthony “Sandfly” Brown. Dookram rallied from two sets down to prevail 13-11, 7-11, 4-11, 12-10, 11-8. Franklyn Seechan cruised past N’kosi Rouse 11-5, 11-6, 11-5 and Kenneth Parmanand whipped Andrew Alexander 11-8, 11-4, 11-3. Queen’s Park continue to lead the seven-team standings with 28 points, while Hillview Renegades moved up one spot to second with 27 points. WASA are third with 26, followed by Solo Crusaders (21), Southerners (18), Servivors (17) and D’Abadie Youths (15).

D’Abadie Youths derail Crusaders Wednesday 3 March 2021 D’ABADIE Youths took care of Solo Crusaders 3-2 at the D’Abadie Community Centre, Arouca on Monday evening, in a second round fixture of the TT (Table Tennis) Champions League. With that result, Solo Crusaders remained in second spot with 19 points, the same as leaders Queen’s Park but with an inferior game difference (plus six, compared to the Parkites’ plus 12). D’Abadie Youths moved up to sixth position with 12 points, the same as Servivors but with a superior game difference of minus eight, compared to Servivors’ minus 14. Hillview Renegades are in third place with 18 points, ahead of WASA (18) and Southerners (14).

Parkites move to top spot in TT Champions League Derron Douglas of Queen’s Park table tennis club. - QUEEN’S PARK rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Southerners 3-2 on Sunday, at the Siparia Community Centre, in a Round Two encounter of the TT (Table Tennis) Champions League. With the result, the Parkites moved to the top spot with 19 points, with Southerners in fifth place with 14 points. On 18 points are Solo Crusaders, Hillview Renegades and WASA, while Servivors (12) and D’Abadie Youths (nine) round off the seven-team standings. On Sunday, Derron Douglas of Queen’s Park got his team off on a winning note with a 11-3, 7-11, 11-9, 11-9 victory over Kevin Redhead.
