Vehicle was able to be driven; driver had his son come follow him just in case of issues. All parties are out of the house. Call transferred to Shelburne Control. Officer Cody Wells advised. Fire extinguished before officers’ arrival. 2:54 p.m. Postmaster at the Turners Falls Post Office on Avenue A advising someone found a “bag of powder” outside the Post Office, brought it in and left it on a counter. Chief Christopher Williams retrieved the item. 7:22 p.m. Trooper Michael Leslie requests an officer assist him with an aggressive dog at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Regional Dog Shelter on Sandy Lane. Officer Cody Wells advised.

Montague, Jan. 11 9:19 a.m. Report of a syringe at the end of the parking area on I Street. Cap for syringe located; disposed of.
