Twitter has paused accepting new requests just over a week after relaunching the verification programme. The microblogging company said that they are ‘rolling in’ or reviewing the verification requests received and will reopen requests soon. Twitter had added a blue badge and described the categories of people eligible to apply for it when it relaunched the verification programme.
