Case No. 1,038, an Indonesian man in his 50s, arrived in Taiwan on March 18 to start work in the fisheries sector and tested positive at the end of his quarantine period. SANDAKAN: Two Indonesians were reported missing after their fishing boat sank off Kuala Meruap waters, Friday.

Sandakan Maritime Zone Director Capt Zainudin Mohd Zuki said the victims were Andi Manso, 40, and Sindora, 42. The Kota Kinabalu Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre (MRSC) activated the search and rescue (SAR) operation at 7pm, Friday, upon receiving information on the incident.
“Two more victims from the same boat – Adrian @ Agus Bahtiar, 45, and Oyong @ Herman, 35, were rescued by local fishing boat around 6.30am,” he said.
