The Oilers were once again short on draft picks. How can they make up for it?

The Edmonton Oilers don't have a plethora of picks in the 2022 NHL Draft, but with their first rounder there are some intriguing options.

Australia's double world champion Tyler Wright has been ruled out of the latest World Surf League event in Saquarema in Brazil due to a visa problem.

"I put myself in the position where I would be someone I wanted to promote," said Tyler Wright, who increased his income eight-fold in six years.

“This is us. This is our spot. Why wouldn’t we want to surf it!”

Tyler Wright put less than $10,000 in his 401(k) plan. "Then, I focused almost all of my stock investing within brokerage accounts," he said.

Isabella Nichols and Tyler Wright have both exited at the elimination round in the World Surf League Championship Tour leg at Banyuwangi, after two all-Australian match-ups.

Tyler Wright went from making $30,000 a year his first year out of college to building a seven-figure net worth before 30.

Projecting the Oilers to select at No. 22, this year's draft appears to be heavy on forwards.
