Former New Orleans City Councilman was fired from the orleans parish communication district as the head of support services

The New Orleans City Council President and Vice President have requested that the Executive Director of the Orleans Parish Communication District be suspended due to allegations brought to light in a WDSU Investigation. 

Councilmembers Helena Moreno and J.P. Morrell said in a letter that Tyrell Morris should be suspended prior to his announced Sept. 15 resignation.
