Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is visiting Lambeau Field in December for a third straight year, each time with a different team. This season's version of Mayfield could give the Green Bay Packers the most problems. Mayfield threw four interceptions in Cleveland's 24-22 loss to Green Bay on Christmas Day 2021 that marked his second-to-last appearance with the Browns, who took him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 draft.

With one last chance to pull out a victory that had been snatched away in the final minute, Desmond Ridder saw Drake London breaking loose over the middle and delivered a pass right on the numbers. London was engulfed by Tampa Bay defenders, who smothered him 3 yards shy of the end zone as time ran out to preserve the Buccaneers' 29-25 victory on Sunday. “We should've come out of there with the win,” Ridder said, “but obviously we didn't.”

Baker Mayfield knew the Falcons would be devoting plenty of attention to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Cade Otton hauled in an 11-yard touchdown pass with 31 seconds remaining, capping a wild fourth quarter that pushed the Buccaneers into a tie for first place in the wobbly NFC South with a 29-25 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

PANTHERS PLAYER TO WATCH: RB Chuba Hubbard is coming off his best game of the season, with 104 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 25 carries in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hubbard wrested the starting job away from Miles Sanders earlier this season and hasn't relinquished it since. Hubbard will face a Saints defense that is allowing 4.5 yards per carry, which is 27th in the league.

After being nominated for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award earlier this week, the NFL announced Wednesday that Winfield Jr. was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording a sack and interception during the Buccaneers win over NFC South rival Carolina in Week 13.
