Increasing the volume of container traffic is one of the key priorities of cooperation with Lithuania, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy has said.
According to a report of the Ministry of Infrastructure on its website on Thursday, during the video meeting of Krykliy with Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania Marius Skuodis the prospects of Ukrainian-Lithuanian cooperation in the field of infrastructure, participation in international logistics projects, as well as attracting additional cargo flows were discussed.
The ministers stressed the importance of continuing work together to attract additional freight traffic on the railway and create favorable and competitive conditions for this.

The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers provides for the imposition of sanctions against 13 Russian airlines with a total ban on flights over Ukraine for a period of three years. Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy, during a meeting with Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine Claude Wild, invited the Swiss side to actively join the implementation of large-scale investment and other infrastructure projects.
During the event, Krykliy thanked the Swiss side for the constant support of Ukraine. He also said that in order to simplify the procedure for the implementation of international road transport and the complete liberalization of the licensing system between the countries, a corresponding protocol was signed and ratified on amending the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Swiss government on international road transport of passengers and goods, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure reported on Thursday.
