Ministry of IT & Telecom along with the Ministry of Science & Technology has been handed over to Dr. Umar Saif.  

Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of jailed Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik, has become a part of Pakistans caretaker government. She will hold the position of special adviser on human rights and womens empowerment to the prime minister, Anwaarul Haq Kakar. Mullicks appointment is being viewed by some observers as an attempt by Pakistans military establishment to keep the issue of Kashmir in the public eye in the wake of the Indian governments recent decision to abrogate Article 370.
