Since then, the government has in “public interest” extended the deadline to submit applications for regularisation of such structures thrice – in March, June and December last year.

An official release said RMC has received 8,058 applications seeking to regularise unauthorised additional constructions done after getting building-use (BU) certificate for the respective buildings.

The window for filing applications under the GRUDA, which is popularly known as impact fee act, had opened on October 17 last year
