Thanking the civic body for ensuring the streetlights are functioning, Basavaraj, another pedestrian, said that he wanted the authorities to restore the remaining defunct street lights to ensure the entire road is well-lit. “The street lights department of the BBMP has to trim tree branches that are blocking the light to ensure proper lighting on this road. I hope the authorities concerned will do the needful without any delay,” he told Bangalore Mirror.
