In the days after Moïse’s July 7 death, Ketcia Peters a well-known local entrepreneur and activist was fielding calls, alongside others, from fellow members of Ottawa-Gatineau’s Haitian community who were shocked, distraught and heartbroken. “They wanted to be able to remember their country.
