The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is poised to take the spotlight on climate mitigation and adaptation efforts. Early last year Egypt joined five other countries to form the Adaptation Action Coalition, to accelerate global action on adaptation to help achieve a climate-resilient world by 2030.
