BACOLOD CITY - The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) has topped the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) among the eight units under the Police Regional Office-Western Visayas (PRO-6) in the first quarter of 2022. Lt. Abegael Donasco, NOCPPO spokesperson, said on Wednesday the accomplishment can be credited to the support and cooperation of the police stations in all 31 cities and municipalities in the province. "They really brought this achievement to us. There are the arrests of wanted and most wanted persons and the anti-illegal drug and gambling operations. We had major drug recoveries. These are main reasons that made us number one," she added. NOCPPO dominated the ratings in the last two months to become number one in Western Visayas, with total scores of 94.31 percent and 94.43 percent in February and March, respectively. April 17, 2021 THE City of San Fernando, Pampanga Police Station (CSFPS) has maintained its position as Central Luzon’s top-performing station for March 2021, following its topmost standing for January and February.
This, as the city police force once again ranked first among all city police stations in the region during the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (Uper) of the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark, city chief of police, the Uper serves as the police’s standard tool in identifying the compliance of police stations with the requirements set by the Philippine National Police (PNP).
“Ang adhikain po ng Uper ay matingnan ang pagtalima ng mga police stations sa administrative at operational requirements na ibinababa ng mas mataas na headquarters ng PNP. Sa atin pong kaso, ito po ay ang provincial at regional headquarters,” explained Clark.
