Foundation Day, now in its sixth year, is an opportunity to showcase the positive impact of the charity’s work in the local community and around the world.
This year’s Foundation Day was celebrated at last Sunday s Premier League game between the Reds and Manchester City at Anfield. Jürgen Klopp s squad wore LFC Foundation-branded warm-up tops and there was a special edition Foundation Day matchday programme.

Liverpool have committed to further supporting those most in need in the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic by expanding their Unity Is Strength programme.
The club, their official charity LFC Foundation and their community team Red Neighbours will work together focusing on four key areas: food poverty, social isolation, physical activity and wellbeing, and volunteering.
This support will include 1,000 weekly fresh meals being prepared by Anfield chefs, food parcels going to local families in need, the provision of accessible virtual LFC Foundation mental health support programmes, and the opportunity to take part in tailored school sessions and open-access sessions.
