Todays crowds . Reporter this is the protest we have been watsi ingwaiting f day. We have seen hundreds of people outside the white house all day. Around 3 00, protesters gathered in Dupont Circle and marched down to the white house. You can see around. I cant see an end to where this crowd is. Its spanning about four to six of these downtown city blocks. A lot of this crowd has stopped moving because of the fortification outside lafayette park. This has really been a gathering point for all of the days we have seen protests over the course of the last ten days. Just a few minutes ago before we got on the air with you, the protesters all lied down on this city block over the black lives matter mural that was painted this week. They laid there for eight minutes, 46 seconds. Thats the amount of time that george floyd was that the officer had his knee on George Floyds neck.
