There is no cost for the conference. The conference objective is to leverage recommendations from the U.P. Energy Task Force report that was submitted to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on March 31 as a catalyst for a more self-reliant, sustainable and affordable U.P. energy future. The event will feature two panel sessions, leading off with a discussion on the U.P. Energy Task Force’s report and recommendations. Dr. Richelle Winkler of Michigan Technological University will moderate the panel with several task force members who are U.P. residents, including Jenn Hill, Michael Larson and Tony Retaskie.
