Anju, an Indian mother of two children, embarked on a journey to a distant village in Pakistan, where she recently got married to her Facebook friend. Following her conversion to Islam, she now goes by the name Fatima. The 34-year-old Indian woman had been residing at the home of her 29-year-old Pakistani friend, Nasrullah, in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Their friendship initially began on Facebook back in 2019.

In a dramatic turn of events, an Indian woman named Anju embarked on a legal journey to a remote village in Pakistans Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where she subsequently converted to Islam and married her Pakistani lover, Nasrullah.

Born in Uttar Pradesh, Anju is married to Arvind, who is in Rajasthan's Bhiwadi. The couple has a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son

Father of Anju said she had "ruined the future" of her family, adding that he had no information on whether or not she had converted to Islam. When asked if he would appeal to the Indian government to bring her back, he said he hoped she would "die there". The womans father had previously described her as "mentally disturbed and eccentric".

In the pictures of their visit to the picturesque tourist spots, Anju & Nasrullah were seen sitting in a lush green garden and holding hands.
