A married Indian woman who travelled legally to a remote village in Pakistan to meet her Facebook friend will return to India on August 20 when her visa expires, her Pakistani friend said on Monday, dismissing reports of any love angle.

Anju, who worked as a data entry operator in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, was in touch with a Pakistan-based man for 2-3 years through Facebook, and WhatsApp and crossed over to Pakistan on 21st July, a police official said.

Nasrulla said that he has no plan of marrying 34-year-old Anju, who was born in Kailor village in Uttar Pradesh and lived in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. | Latest News India

“Anju is an eccentric woman who does what she wishes and therefore, I am not in touch with her for a long time,” Gaya Prasad Thomas, father of the woman who reached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in Pakistan, allegedly to meet the man she loves, said.
