Share Updated: 11:58 AM CDT May 27, 2021 There are some business and job opportunities coming to the city of Ridgeland.Mayor Gene McGee said the Southern Beverage Company’s distribution facility that’s coming to the city will bring several hundred jobs to the area. The company has five other distribution centers throughout Central Mississippi.McGee said he looks forward to seeing how this expansion increases employment and adds an investment to the city. We re excited that they re bringing in about 200 jobs, and they re high-paying jobs, which means that’s good for our economy, McGee said.
