Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice Health Minister Dante Saksono said Indonesia has received the fifth batch of COVID-19 vaccines from China's Sinovac Biotech.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), today we got 10 million (doses of the) bulk vaccine. This bulk vaccine is raw material that Bio Farma will turn into (ready-to-use) vaccines," he said at an online press briefing in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The government’s plan of vaccinating 181.5 million Indonesians against the coronavirus hinges on the availability of vaccines, spokesperson for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Prof. Wiku Adisasmito, said.

The vaccine will be allocated for public service officers, including the TNI (Indonesian Military) and Polri (the Indonesian Police), starting since the end of February. The vaccine doses, sent in bulk using refrigerated containers, will be developed and packed at Biofarma (the plant in Bandung) Beijing (ANTARA) - Chinese vaccine manufacturer Sinovac dispatched another 15 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in bulk to Indonesia on Tuesday.
The Garuda Indonesia aircraft, carrying the vaccine doses, departed from Beijing at 6:33 a.m. local time and was scheduled to arrive at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta's western outskirts of Tangerang at 00:10 p.m. local time.
