The U.S. Federal Trade Commission is considering its options after stinging losses last week in its bid to stop Microsofts $69 billion deal to buy Activision, a source told Reuters on Monday amid expectations the agencys fight is nearing the end.

A federal judge had previously ruled for Microsoft on Tuesday, saying the FTC had failed to show the deal would be illegal under antitrust law.
