CDC is currently investigating two separate Listeria outbreaks, both of which are linked to packaged salads. One outbreak is linked to packaged salads produced by Fresh Express.
Fresh Express is recalling different varieties of is packaged salad products produced at the company’s Streamwood, Illinois facility because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Fresh Express is recalling over 200 salad products after at least one person has died. The recall includes both branded salad products and private label products.
