Court Jails Fulani Leader, Two Others For Life For Kidnapping In Kwara State
A Fulani traditional head, popularly known as Sarkin Fulani, Usman Ado and two others have been sentenced to life imprisonment for kidnapping in Kwara State. The conviction was pronounced by a Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on Thursday. Recall that Mr Usman Ado and two others were arrested and charged to court on a two-count charge of conspiracy to kidnap and kidnapping. They kidnapped Abubakar Ahmad and demanded a ransom of N1million before releasing him after 20 days in captivity.
