A 2022 Utah law has been used to question dozens of books across the state considered by some to be inappropriate for children and in some cases even pornographic. Now, a parent has requested a school district remove the Holy Bible from its schools for inappropriate content. 

A Utah parent filed a request to ban the Bible from a public school because of its sexual content in the wake of state legislation prohibiting pornographic books in schools.

With a list citing verses from Genesis to Revelation, a Utah parent is calling for the Word of God to be removed from a high school library for being "pornographic."

God's bestseller is next up on the chopping block. A Utah parent is calling for the Bible to be banned in school districts, claiming it violates the state's 2022 law of banned book qualifications.

The parent said that if lesser books have been banned, then the Bible, which discusses infanticide, rape, and bestiality, is not appropriate for kids.
