And our crew happened to be right there when it happened. Just after noon today chp officers started chasing a man from oakland when they entered San Francisco. Thats when police in the city joined the pursuit. Police say there were a few different crashes before everything came to an end. The suspect eventually crashing on third street near Mascone Center and got off and took off running. Officers eventually caught up with him and luckily no one was hurt but he was arrested. For two frantic hours San Francisco rescue workers raced tatry and save a construction worker after a sewer trench collapsed around him. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts that worker did not survive. Now investigators are trying to figure out why the trench collapsed on him in the first place.
