cullen was air-lifted to cooper university hospital in serious condition. family members and law enforcement held vigil late into the night at the hospital and then at 12:30 a.m., trooper cullen the father of a baby boy was pronounced dead at the age of 31. new jersey state police superintendant broke the news to everyone gathering in the waiting room. fellow colleagues were devast e devastated to hear the news. everybody loved him, he was funny, everybody was smiling and laughing. he started his law enforcement career with the sea isle city police and worked with them for two summers and then hired as a patrolman in west depford township and his brother is already a state trooper, the cinnaminson high school graduate moved there as a child. the more importantly he understand with this service was, he understand that when someone dialed 911, they really needed him, he understood what it meant to live out your dream. we are told that the 22-year-old woman that hit th

let s take live look at wilmington, delaware. you can see visibility being reduced as both the snow and the winds start to pick up there. pennsylvania, new jersey, and delaware all under a state of emergency tonight. thanks for joining us i m dawn timmeney. i m lucy noland. philadelphia is under a snow emergency conditions outside they are quickly deteriorating. not the typical friday night in downtown philadelphia. most folks they re staying home. they re hunkering down. in the studio can meteorologist kathy orr tracking the latest on this storm. kathy. it s amazing, dawn. we have seen conditions go from this cloudy skies and good visibility in a snap down to poor visibility and blowing snow. you can see on ultimate doppler waves of heavy snow pushing into the region, and win the next three hours we ll have band shifting right through philadelphia. at a rate of two to 5-inches an hour. it will be brief but it will be a big burst of snow. right now you can see moderate
reporter: the superintendent says that the stop had nothing to do with racial profiling, the two men and two others nearby were questioned, because they did not have a permit required to solicit door to door. the officer made the stop based on the fact seeing these people going house to house soliciting. reporter: he said that the pair were only told to sit on the ground for a short time after officers learned that one might have been wanted on a warrant. he was not. and they were released without being cited for anything. the the encounters were very friendly, in fact, in one case when the gentlemen left they shook the the officer s hands. reporter: the superintendent points out that the no soliciting or the the soliciting permit ordinance only applies to adults so that young people out shoveling sidewalks to make a little extra money need in the worry about being stopped by police. live from lower merion i m walt hunter, cbs-3 eyewitness news . walt, thank you.
nbc 10 s keith jones is following the latest develop. s from our digital operation center. that s right. every single person on that crew is in quarantine right now. the 33-year-old is now the fourth american diagnosed with the deadly disease. he was hired by nbc news on tuesday. but he had been working in liberia for the past three years. he started feeling symptoms yesterday. tired, achy and a slight fever. among the fore member, dr. nancy schneiderman, she was just interviewed over the phone on msnbc. here s a little bit of what she said under quarantine still in africa. we will be taking our temperatures twice a day. if any one of us spikes a fever, we will report ourselves to authorities. we are taking it seriously, but i want people to know we are well. they re not releasing the camera man s identity at the request of the family. the company is doing everything that i have can to get the best possible treatment for this employee. they re being closely monitors. an
