Taipei, Nov. 4 (CNA) Indian expatriates, Taiwanese locals, and guests of all nationalities came together at American Club Taipei Friday for a Diwali celebration hosted by the Indians in Taiwan (IiT) group.
An exhibition of more than a dozen artworks by a Taiwanese-based Indian artist and inspired by ancient cave sculptures opened on Friday at India’s representative office in Taipei.
The “Into the Caves of India” exhibition, which ends on Friday next week, features 15 mixed media artworks by Taipei-based Vandana Mengane at the India-Taipei Association.

The Museum of World Religions and the Red Room Association yesterday held a salon-style panel in New Taipei City featuring discussions on the achievements of women ahead of International Women’s Day on Tuesday.
The “Changing Climates” panel invited seven Taiwanese and international speakers living in Taiwan to speak on the topics “Soft skills for today’s world” and “Changing narratives in the workplace.”
