Indianolas new wastewater treatment facility is moving forward as the city adds new contractors for the sites construction. The Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) project was originally budgeted for $45.6 million dollars. The project is currently about $44,000 under the expected cost, according to Rick Graves, the Indianola Water Pollution Control superintendent. The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in special session Tuesday. The board set a public hearing date on Maximum Property Tax Dollars for March 2nd, approved a proposal from Vanderpool Construction on temporary storm sewer repair, and discussed holding a future budget work session reviewing information from all county departments.
